Syndicate Wars for the Saturn ?

I really need some info on this.I remember reading about this some years ago but it was never released.Yeah the PSX version sucked,but I wanna know about this.It sounds cool
And yeah Syndicate and Syndicate Wars rock (on the PC ONLY)

It was complete apart from FMV, cancelled when Bullfrog got out of the Saturn market Spring '97.

 

Call me crazy, but i think i saw a preview on this on Cybernet back then.

 

Woah now that's some progress.I thought there was just nothing but tests on the Saturn!Looking forward to getting this one

Oh and yeah,Syndicate also rocked in the Amiga (duh)

 

I've only played it on MD and I think that version is great! (I haver it on Towns too but not really tried it)

Never knew the saturn game was that far. Definitely one to hunt down.

Yes, Syndicate was an awesome game. I'd say just get it on Megadrive, though - I can pretty much guarantee noone's gonna get to play the Saturn version!

 

Syndicate and Syndicate Wars are two different games don't get em confused.

 

I don't think Syndicate Wars was complex.It was a lot more action based than the first one and gave the dark feeling better,but not complex at all.You could persuade people,bomb buildings and banks,drive with cars and lots of stuff.Well the PSX version had really sucky controls you had to memorize every move and that just spoils the game for me,I want something easy to control.

Well,the Saturn version should suck a lot too(lke the PSX version),but seems like a lot of people want to play this game.Any chance of beta version in any Sega Saturn magazine?

3 weeks have passed and no one seems to do the move.Does anyone keep in contact with staff from SSM so that we can contact them and ask them if there is any playable version around?

 

It's sadly not a case of 'please hand over the goods'. Even if they have a prototype (which I doubt), it's unlikely they'll 'leak' it.
