I have recently had the most heartbreaking news yet - it seems my Soul Calibur 2 dongle has ceased to work.

I was able to contact another System 246 and SC2 owner and my copy of SC2 boots with his dongle, but his copy does *NOT* boot with my dongle. I think that pretty much limits it down to my dongle taking a dirt nap.

Finding the original games for this system is tough! Most of the links I can find don't have a complete set or have the old revision. Replacing it seems to be an option I do not have. :(

There are several sources on the internet (TheGuru, Alex, a few others) that have reported that they can easily dump and copy these dongles. A few places have reported that they can repair the dongles - but no one seems to be answering emails for this aging system.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for possibly repairing this myself? I can't imagine it's more difficult than restoring the contents of the TSOP NAND flash (this card is pretty identical to a PS2 memory card) but I can't seem to find any resources to do that. Programmers seem extremely expensive for this series - though I am under the impression they use a common flash programming standard.

Can anyone help me figure out a way to restore this item?
