Curious if anyone has one of these motherboards?

I've only heard of their existence but never seen one or got the tachyon baryon or pommel from the two.

My guess is that the TA-075 is japans launch model however the TA-090 ( 2000 series ) I can't seem to figure out.

If anyone can confirm these two ( by posting either a image of the board or just posting the tachyon baryon and pommel of those variants ) I would very much so appreciate it!

    Thanks for Everything,
    PSPdemon

P.S. To check for your motherboard revision, you can use Pandora and DC8. Once in the menu select "Hardware Info" and it should list both the motherboard revision and the Tachyon, Baryon and Pommel.

The other method would be PSPident.

I don't recall ever seeing a TA-075 in any machines at all. TA-079 is the earliest as far as I'm aware, and I actually split 20 odd imported machines for parts at launch. Maybe a proto' board?

As for the TA-090, it's the current board in PSP3000s. As such, I guess you can't get the T/B/P info from it easily (since pandora won't work). I've done a quick scan for you anyoo..

I just gotta say damn! I didn't realize Sony had trimmed down the boards quite so much. Looks like most tracks are hidden in middle layers too.

    Thanks for the scans!

Yea the TA-090 mobo is in the 3000, however thats a TA-090v2

There is a supposed TA-090v1 in the 2000 series, but again I have yet to see proof of the existence.

As for the TA-075... it's the same as the TA-090 mobos in slims, people say they exists but yet the proof isnt there :/

Thanks again for the scans though! i hope to acquire a TA-082 and a TA-088 soon ( doing some hardware research :p )

    No probs :)

I'd be suprised if there the TA-090 was used in 2000 series machines as theres quite a few differences - ie different TFT connector, analogue now connected by ribbon as well as probably a different audio IC to handle the mic. I'll have a look and see if I can give you a definative answer.

How could you tell it's a v2 I scanned - did you go by sony p/n?

If you need any other board info I'll be happy to help where I can.. I've got literally hundreds (that I haven't had time to fix) stashed away for a rainy day. So if you want scans or other info, just give me a list and I'll dig them out.
