I wanna start off by saying that the big box meals are a total rip off for what you get. Two small tacos, a value menu burrito thing, and a MEDIUM drink for ~$9 I ate there like 5 times for the contest before I had a bad experience... So probably like $50 The food isn't bad, but it's not good either. Yeah, probably did break the rules. But oh well, I'm happy at least someone on the forum won, even if it was unethical. I really don't like Taco Bell anymore, though--it seems they don't give a shit what goes on in their restaurants. I went on their Facebook and saw a lot of posts from people who had the same problem as me and the best they did was just copy and paste a pre-written message with a link to some website to get a new code. But when you go to the website they ask for so many things (store info, time and date, scan of receipt, pic of the Taco Bell box...Etc). I can understand the need to verify things, but that's inconvenient as hell. And it bothers me because they obviously didn't even read or care about the situation at the store and just pasted a prewritten response. And the funny part is initially they commented to my complaint and said "please private message us about what happened." Just total bs. There was even a guy on there who had a screw in his burrito. It was perfectly toasted into the tortilla so it had to have fallen off the grilling machine and landed on the burrito right before they pressed it. They didn't even bother to reach out to the guy. I don't want to sound priveledged but I've had bad experiences at other places and they always made it right or an effort to in some way. Not Taco Bell.
default code obviously because theres no sense to buy a code when you can use a free one when your only allowed to enter once per day i dont eat at taco bell so thats why i originally had the manager give me boxes. i never won on any of those boxes which is why i felt it was rigged, until i won last night on a free code. theres a difference between giving boxes away and using the code and keeping and selling the box thats just messed up lol so no i didnt cheat to win sorry if i disappointed anyone
Whether or not you won off those boxes, you still did cheat. It's ok, no one really cares. Maybe next time don't give out too much info.
yea i put the odds in my favor and wound up not needing them and winning legitimately how ironic it still baffles me when i think about it lol
You can't really say that you won legitimately though. It doesn't cancel out the fact that you received free game codes. The rules were very specific that codes came with the purchase of a big box. You can get a free code now that it's late into the contest, but before to get a free code you had to send them a postcard and request one by mail. You were/are never supposed to get big box containers for free. I don't actually care how you won, all I'm saying is you can't back track and claim it was legitimate now.. It wasn't. Like I said.. Next time don't share so many details if you don't want to be criticized. It would be no different if I came on here and bragged about how I got one over on an ebay seller by filing a bogus item not as described claim and then got mad when people on here told me I was a shitty person. Just keep it to yourself it it's controversial. You can't be mad at me for pointing out that you essentially cheated the system.. If Taco Bell found out that you received free codes I'm sure they would rescind your winnings, regardless of what code ended up making you a winner. That's a very weak argument to make. But anyway, congrats. I'll say it again : I'm glad someone on this forum won one.
They should just sell this damn thing. So sick of colors being so restricted by Sony outside of Japan!
I won an original Xbox around 10 years ago from Taco Bell. I think they had something crazy like two winners from every store.
