Just picked up taito legends 2 on whim in Toys'r'us and when I got home I found it had Raystorm (sometimes called LAYER SECTION 2) which was not listed on the package. Well, I have the Saturn version and I must say it looks pretty bad on the Taito legends 2 compilation disk for the PS2. Its almost like companies putting out reissues purposely degrade the picture (I know sometimes it really is a technical issue) so people will say "gee look how good we have it with todays graphics"
You imagine that an Xbox rendition of Raystorm would look better, but that specific game was left off of the Xbox version of Taito Legends 2. There's actually a whole Wikipedia article on what games are different and why the list of available titles is slightly different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taito_Legends_2 I'm presently hunting for an online store that'll let me buy the game across regional boundaries, since the Xbox version won't be sold in the States.
