I can get a Taito Type X dev but not much point unless I can get a dev team together in NYC area.

just say you have contracted team. :)

Also nothing personal but it's a bit of a waste since it's just a pc in a box. :p

Isn't that what most dev kits are anyway? ;)

    Indeed.
Raiden III appears to be shaping up quite well. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that it plays well.

xbox is built from pc parts but it's not the same as a pc either, applies to type-x.

Gamecube is a bit different than type-x.

I'm looking to use what I have here as a way to backdoor into the industry, so
you have to go with what you have (cube) or can get cheaply (X)

    Hi

I'm a huge taito fan especially of there simulation type games, if I ever got a type x thats the type of homebrew stuff I like to mess around with, where could I find one possibly and how much would one run ?

Type x is basically a pc, you already own a "type x"

I'd be willing to help on the coding end. The only problem is that I'm in Texas, not NYC. But if it's PC based, it shouldn't be too big of a challenge to throw together a comparible PC.

I priced type x, they want some serious references in past games, the unit is quite cheap, but they don't want just anyone using it.
