    What the heck is this for? I looked it up online and I found references to a karaoke machine but nothing about games.

    Here what the controller looks like:

    In the instruction booklet, there's a reference to "Game Land" but still, I got no clues.

    Yahoo auction brought up nothing. I found one mention of the controller on a Japanese master controller list for all game consoles, and it lists it as "karaoke equipment".

    What is this X Data-Net Station, and what games were available for it?

    It's for a online karaoke machine they did, I believe the service for these machines is defunct. You could download simple games and the like hence the pad, but you could only play the games as long as the machine was switched on...

    They show up in hard off quite often for the whole 210 yen or so... I got one somewhere...
