Well i want to see everyone's guesses lol. I'm going to FTP all of this at once, well 137gigs for F drive and rest for G drive so twice but im going to add the time up together. Im doing this sunday when my 500gb arrives and well yea Anyways, obviously a lot of files prob wont transfer over but oh well. I want to see people's guesses on how long it will take :biggrin-new:
ftping all of those files to my xbox is what im talking about. those are all games im putting on my HDD
Wouldn't be quicker to take the drive out of the xbox and copy the files via a decent USB to IDE interface? FTPing files on the Xbox takes ages, even 6GB will take about 30 minutes. So 60gb will take 5 hours, so the best part of a day and a bit... I found it quicker to copy the games from the originals to the hard drive.

Not as bad as having to dd a 250GB disk image to a drive. That was a full 3 days. 10 hours, +- 30 mins for FTP.
