Take 2’s office on Broadway was hit by a five alarm fire last night. The publisher’s office was apparently hit very badly, though both Rockstar and the corporate offices were unaffected because they aren’t in the building. The side of the office where the suits live was hardest hit. Apparently the office is home to tons of original and extremely valuable art from people like Andy Warhol, Damian Hirst and Keith Haring. No word if they were damanged. The fire started about 10 p.m. Saturday. Officials believe it began in the first floor or perhaps the ceiling of the basement. Six firefighters and one other person suffered minor injuries. The cause of the fire is still undetermined. Kotaku is the source.
Jack Thompson is wanted for questioning! Uh, well... not really... but i can dream! I hope everyone is ok.
Who throws 5 alarms at buildings anyway? And how the hell did they set the building on fire?
Dammit, so the Warhol art survived?? I thought firemen are supposed to help set fires? The least they could've done was let it burn a little while longer. This is truely one of the lowest points in the history of fire.
:icon_bigg Im supirsed Jack hasent gone on record to blame video games for fires across the land now.
I'm not suprised. Having all that electrical equipment around on all the time is a total fire hazard. Blown fuses, gerry rigged wiring, etc, all that is common at such offices.
