The big names make some good cash, but if you haven't noticed, the talento industry has many run-of-the-mill people as well. If they don't get popular, they cap out around 10-15 million yen a year.... at least I've been told as much. Yeah, that seems like a lot, but for someone in showbiz (and w/o anything steady, mind you) it's pretty lame. I would require at least double that making a complete ass out of myself.
