So, they are going to use a Cel-Shaded version, just like ToS. Well, I guess thats for the better, doesn't require as much power or developer techniques as normal graphics.
The last two were mediocre, at best though -- Rebirth I played through (kind of lame) and they apparently mucked up the battle system in Legendia, which I didn't try. I've only played two in the series, so would probably enjoy the 2D ones more at this point.
I've got Tales Of Symphonia on the GC, and Tales Of Destiny II (Tales Of Eternia) on the PSX. I've finished neither. Nevertheless, I really enjoy the character they exude - they're like a throwback to classic RPGs of old, only with better (well, better translated, at least) dialogue and a battle system that doesn't make every fight feel like a chore once you get 1/4 into the game. Apparently, after close to 10 years and ports on three different systems, English audiences are FINALLY going to be blessed with Tales Of Phantasia on the GBA in March, and I totally can't wait.
