I noticed a 'Not for sale' press version of Talkman in the sale forum http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showpost.php?p=195376&postcount=1 However, I am aware of 2 other press versions available, one comes in a brown cardboard suitcase with various printed stickers of flags of the world on it to show what countries you can translate to and from, has a press disc CD full of images, has a little manual full of gumph about the game, the microphone and the game which seems to be a standard release game in a not for sale plastic sleeve. Don't have a picture yet. The other one, is like the above but seems to have a lite version (as a standard silver press disc) which only has English, French and Japanese. Anyone have any more examples of interesting press versions of games?
I have two different type of 'Promo' versions: One is an actual Test Disc in a box labelled 'Review Code': The other is like the one sold in the previous thread (with 'Promo Code' on the box and included a manual): I'm pretty sure both discs have the same version of code (v1.01), which is the same as the released disc in the UK... I've never seen the suitcase version though, I'd love to have that if anyone has one forsale.
I also have a talkman promo, but I believe mine is v.0.03 ... have to check if my memory serves my right. EDIT: the version is even lower then I rembered. v.0.01 / June 07
