I saw this game at yakumo's site, and it looks like the only dreamcast racing game i don't have yet! I watched the movie, and that 406 is a real touring car being a taxi! Damn, i saw this game's torrent last week at www.suprnova.org, and thought it was crazy taxi 2... Now it's gone...
It was only released in France. My friend in France was able to get a few and recently helped out a few guys over at Dreamcast History in getting a copy. Now they are hard to find though. Yakumo

forgive me downloading the game instead of buying it. Of course I want to buy the game instead of downloading, (is it illegal?) But the government thinks that the dc is dead ( u can't buy it at stores new in canada now, so maybe it's legal to download games). Since I just got a vga box a week ago so easily, I don't think such luck of finding this game to buy will strike me anytime soon. But I want to play this a lot, so i'm downloading it now. P.S. thanks yakumo, without ur wonderful site, I wouldn't know about this game and the retro gaming life in japan.
Da1m0n, u said u upload that torrent? Did u make the torrent file urself or u got it from somewhere else? Because I want to contribute some of my stuff at that site too. The only dc game i'm looking for right now is the best aeroplane game (aero dancing i) But it can't be found anywhere, and there's not much info about it.
I don't thinks its an good idea to openly discuss 'where/what' downloading of released dreamcast games... if you must then just post behind the back of the board......

As wombat says this is not the place to discuss where download released DC games. Assembler received advice about posts related to warez or illegal copies.

Taxi 2 Hello, Taxi 2 is dead easy to find in France (my home country), it's probably the crapiest game I've ever seen on the dreamcast, though the movie was very nice. The graphics are poor, the cars are poorly modelised, you feel like control a hoovercraft rather than a car... :Hangman: Probably the only added value you can get from this game are the extra movie clips that were not included in the movie. Ubisoft spent probably a month to get this junk released. :smt017 It feels more like a beta, proof of concept rather than a final product. It's probably worth getting if it's the only missing game in your dreamcast collection. Sabre
ok, thanks, I actually want all car driving games (except f1), and this seems to be the only one missing. I don't mind bad graphics, eg: super runabout had bad graphics, (low poly, low texture) but it has tons of objects to run into, and exciting roads, large variety of cars, making it fun to play. Although I try to get all driving games, the only game i spent time in is tokyo xtreme racer 2, which is my third time beating all over again... But the rivals, unlocking the road again, and slick graphics kept me going.

Yes, the Taxi 2 torrent is my own, and so is the image file (re-ripped from working disc, verified, rar'ed, everything)... as for Aero Dancing, that's just the Japanese version of Aerowings, which in turn isn't hard to find at all....
I wasted two cds burning taxi 2, can anyone verify this? Using the image at suprnova? The aero dancing "i" is the best, and i can't find it anywhere, where do u think i can find it? And dcforums look like a private forum. Thanks for ur help.
hokman, its a French ONLY game.. you're hardly going to find it in your local store several thousand miles away. LOOK IN FRANCE! Look on eBay. Ask in here/dcforums. Sory, I have no sympathy for you having wasted CDs. If you want the game, buy it. That's a risk you take downloading crap off the net... the same as the risk its not what you're after at all, or not virused. By the way, we requested it, now I'll mention it again.
