I bought an 'untested' Teddy Boy Blues game board off eBay over a year ago. Today I spend most of the day building a Jamma adapter and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't blow up my cab. Th good news is that it powered on with correct colors and video sync, but unfortunately the game stalls at a "Bad IC089 error".....:crying: On closer inspection of the board, there appear to be a number of uncovered eeproms.... Is it possible to simply replace the defective game rom/s? If so, is there anyone who can offer this service online?
It could be something as simple as reflashing an EPROM, although 089 isn't a EPROM location from what I can see. As you are in australia, try http://www.jomac.net.au/ as not only are they one of the best places to repair arcade monitors they do repair arcade boards too and do have experience with Sega System 1/2 boards,
