Tekken 4 on PSX what the...?

Was Tekken 4 released on Playstation?
I remember seeing a disc called Tekken 4 Special or something some time ago... I know it's on PS2 but just wanted to know whether the disc I saw was some kind of demo....

Err, never . tekken 4 was released after another episode of the serie on the ps2. maybe a fake or a maybe a proto. ( a la Resident evil 0 , planned on n64 , released on gc) but i think the word ''fake'' is kore apropriated.... or maybe you've dreamt? lol. ;-)

Looks fake to me. You can get a case like that anywhere, and the PSX cases were clear. As for the insert, on word... Photoshop.

 

at A$5 I might pick it up to see what this is for our amusement...
since it's local the shipping will be like A$2-3 max

and when I got bored with it I can always sell it on eBay.

Funny thing is, it says Tekken 4 Special, but has the Tekken Tag logo.

If the PSone can handle Tekken 3, there's a good chance it could have handled Tag. But this is sooooooo fake. Wonder what the actual game is? Probably just T3....

You are forgetting something. Tekken 4 started being developed after the PS2 was released, and the arcade port itself was released after like 2 years of life of PS2. Why they would port it to PS1 instead of the PS2 ?!? :smt030 :smt030

 

Tekken Tag Tournament wasnt devlopped especially for the PS2.. but was running (in the arcade) on the playstation-like arcade board.. so it COULD be possible that there was an version floathing arround.. but the disc on ebay just looks really FAKE :smt033

it should be #1 on the list.

not sure where but maybe in arcade sprites. they have A LOT of sprites to use.

 

I'm not entirely sure the cover alone would make it fake. Granted it overall does sound very dubious, but I got some PSone black label Pre-Production games in the mail today and the seller printed off covers for them....I still believe the game is a fake but basing it on cover alone may not be entirely accurate :smt030
