Being a bit late off the ball with my PS2, I'm after Tekken 5. I know the first release version came with Tekken 1, 2 and 3 built in but does the greatest hits version? I have looked for information on this but I can't find a definite answer. Anyone here know?
I think all versions include it. By the way, they are the arcade versions (meaning that Tekken 3 has all the 3d backgrounds). There's also the arcade version of Starblade (don't remember how to unlock it). I agree with you about Virtua Fighter 4. VF4: Evolution is amazing. But saying Tekken sucks and talk about DOA? DOA and DOA2 are good games but all the others are just graphical demonstrations ( = 3d models with big boobs). Tekken 3 and Tekken 5 are great, but yes VF:4 Evolution is the best!
Excellent news, thanks. I already have Virtua Fighter 4 and DoA is a totally braindead button basher in my eyes. Maybe you would say the same for Tekken, but Tekken at least has some charisma and it has nostalgic appeal for me (my first PSX game was Tekken when it was first released and I had played it all summer that year.. etc etc). Sometimes you just want something to unwind with, rather than the more hardcore gameplay of Virtua Fighter.
it's not because quake 3 is better than halo 2 mp that you shouldnt play halo 2. And yrah, you can aruge with me, but that's just another point; it's an opinion, and you have yours.
Exactly. It's the same for all genres of gaming. I play Ridge Racer, Burnout, ... but at the same time i also like the more hardcore gameplay of Gran Turismo. Anyway, other PS1 fighters i like and recommend: - Bloody Roar / Bloody Roar 2 - Star Gladiator - Gengi Tougi: Shadow Struggle - Critical Blow (a.k.a. Shadow Struggle 2) - Dinasty Warriors (Sangoku Musou) - Heaven's Gate - Tobal 2 Still have to buy some of those myselfl. :110:
