Is there even a way? If so detailed pictures showing differences between their PCBs would be very nice. I was an early adopter who after several years, got fed up with losing my saved data regularly and sold it. I wouldn't mind trying again sometime. But I want to minimize risk of receiving that same glitch. Update 7/24/2012: It is -1 added to the front label. We now have a solid picture. http://forums.lostlevels.org/viewtopic.php?t=2704
look on the front of the cart For example Tony Hawk 2 is NUS-NTQE-USA If it's a second revision it will have a number appended on e.g. NUS-NTQE-USA-1
Hm. That could be. Not sure how much of an online community wrestling games have these days. I think I heard PAL copies without blood should be free of the glitch. Hard to say for sure, being I'm in NTSC land.
Get a hammer, preferable a sledge one. Hit cartridge as hard as you can with said hammer. Find a game that is worth playing.
I was one of the many victims of this glitch. In my childhood I owned two copies and both were glitched carts. I used to love creating characters and playing the career mode (or whatever it was called, I forget), but powering the game on always felt nerve racking. Sometimes I would be lucky and find that my data would still be intact, but I knew eventually it would disappear and I'd have to start all over again.
That is not really too much of a boast now, is it. That is a bit like saying George Bush Jr was the most human looking of all the monkey faced presidents or the McDonalds hamburger is the most healthy of all the McDonalds meat like products in a bun.
I like the Giant Gram wrestling games , the N64 wrestling games and the smackdown games very rarely do i like any other wrestling games i feel that game that came out not long ago WWE all stars sucks i played the demo and did not like the gameplay it was missing something so i ignored that game and will continue to do so xD
No mercy is a very good game. Same goes for Wrestlemania 2000. You're thinking of the shit Acclaim put out like WWF Warzone, Attitude wasn't too bad.
