Telltale Games will soon celebrate its fifth birthday and they thought it would be cool to sell their games at a discount price for a limited period of time. If you want to get some of their episodes to see what Telltale is all about, use the following code and you'll pay $5 for each. 8QH-FMB-7VZ-WEN Regular price is $8.95 per episode, and this I think applies to all of Telltale titles. This offer was sent to those who bought stuff at Telltale website in the past, but if you bought a standard retail edition of, let's say Sam & Max, you obviously won't recieve a code. I decided to post it in case someone wants to try out some of Telltale's games. It's actually cheaper to get whole seasons at $5 a pop than to buy whole season packages. The code can be used over and over again, so anyone can get a discount. You can get yourself some Sam & Max, Bone or Strong Bad. The prices in the store will be unchanged, but once you add some stuff to your cart and go to checkout, you'll see that it's only $5 a pop. You can also start shopping using the discout coupon by clicking here. The coupon code is valid until the promotion ends on June 17. Happy birthday Telltale Games!
"Every time your coupon is used, you'll receive a $1 credit that can be used for a future purchase in our store. The more people who use your coupon, the more credit you'll collect." Soo...the offer's nice but the code in the OP is basically like a referrer link. How does this forum feel about them, are they forbidden?
So? I did type up the store credit bit when I posted in on other boards [Cryptic Allusion for one]. I just didn't bother this time. Besides, it's one dollar and I would need five just to buy something using the very same code, and I have already bought everything I wanted from Telltale, long before I got this code. Except for Wallace & Gromit, but you can't use this code to buy these episodes, anyway. I'm not all exclamation marks here and I'm not holding a gun to anyone's head. You want a $5 game? Knock yourself out. If you're not interested, that's fine too. Hundreds of people got these codes and if someone would have already posted one here, I wouldn't force mine upon Assembler boards users. I'm not forcing anything upon anyone now either. Telltale Games is kind enough to provide its users with an information on how many times has their coupon been redeemed. Look at the screenshot above and see what a tight scam I'm running. The money's just rolling in. Haha. I should have mentioned the $1 store credit bit, but a good deal is still a good deal. I'd rather see people buying games from Telltale directly, than getting the DRM crap on Steam, because it's cheap. ASSEMbler - Didn't mean to go against the rules on step on any toes.
I don't have anything against referrer links really, but many forums do, which is one reason why I posted that from the site. Also, I always think something weird is up when I see a code like that or an URL that looks odd if the post doesn't say it's a referrer link. So many dicks try to scam people on forums with stuff like this. Nothing against you personally, I just think if people post referrer links they should say so, so that people can make the choice of buying through the ref link or not.
