Hiya! I bought a Tennokoe 2 , it works fine and I can save stuff on it , but how do you go about managing your saves? For example when you need to delete a save to make room for another game? I found this page here: http://www.ncsx.com/2010/030110/tennokoe_2_bank.htm that states: I tried with the TurboED in place and with no cart in place, pressing SELECT does nothing (on boot or keep pressed before power on)... does it need a normal huecard game to work (can't test with one atm) Thanks for any info.
Try booting with CD System ROM on that ED. When you see the CD spash screen with press RUN to start, press SELECT to access hidden menu with options for formatting or deleting. System 1.0 has extra feature that was removed. OR you could get a Tennokoe card (about $10 shipped card only, $15 with CD case) and use it, it also works at managing the memory in Tennokoe 2, TurboBooster Plus, and CD systems. The card has 4x the memory space and you can swap the whole memory bank, copy to or from, and more. Check the FAQ on reading Tennokoe memory card menu, it's fairly easy to use it.
I tried it both USA and JP CD System roms, the JP ones don't show text at all: and the USA ones have text but they can't manage the Tennokoe 2 , all I get is this when I select DELETE from the menu: The saves are present and working in Neutopia and Dragon's Curse btw... I guess my only option is the Tennokoe card, loaded that rom with the ED but I can't really understand what's going on LOL edit: found a guide here: http://turbo.mindrec.com/files/gamesave.faq , I can view the contents of the Tennokoe 2 with the card rom but there is no option to delete individual saves... all the operations are for the entire Save Ram... meh
