Anyone remember this title? It's a port of Metal Slug for GBC, looked pretty good from what I recall.

From what I remember around 2002 when this started getting noticed, places like Lik-Sang started getting a stock of these, so I know they made their rounds before. It's gone back into obscurity now though, finding a copy is difficult.

I'm looking for the same as seen above, boxed complete with manual. I'm not aware of any USA versions not in a JP styled box, so I'm assuming it's the only version that exists.

    Thanks ;-)

I vaguely remember hunting for it at some point in the past (would've guessed ~2003) and coming up empty-handed. Don't recall Lik-Sang ever having stock, I'd have bought several if they had.

Good luck anyway, sorry I can't be more useful. If you do find a source of multiple copies, let us know.

Sure thing. Since my pirate collecting is funded through reselling of other copies I find of pirates I already own, I'd be sure to mention it if I found others :)

Maybe it wasn't Lik-Sang that had it, I don't remember where I read that. All I say is I know a Japanese guy who went to a Night Market in Taiwan that had it. In my recent trip over there I searched all over, the shop that had it was long gone :(

I did a bit of searching for this the other day and incredibly, it isn't even dumped. Apparently Lan-Kwei (remember them?) had a shipment back in 2004 for about $25 a pop, but that store's long gone now.

I got the wrong company's name then :x

Yeah, this isn't the only one not dumped. There's tons of them, I've got plenty myself but other people I know who have some can't dump them with any copiers. And I'm not exactly willing to send off a lot of stuff to someone who may never send them back to me either. Most GB pirates seem to all have a lot of protection that no current copiers can bypass :/

What´s so special about the game despite the artwork of the box? I own a unlicensed copy of Metal Slug for the Gameboy Color, but the box looks different...
Is it still the same game or does it have a different level design?
