Quick question... do original genuine PS2 test decks ever come up for sale? (ex industry use)
if so, how much are they going for?

 

For future reference, there is a price check thread, but you need to send the request to a mod. This prevents people from skirting the "all sales must have a price" and the "50 posts required to sell anything" rules. So don't go trying to sell anything

Anyway, very roughly, £80-£180. Anything above that probably won't sell, anything less is a very good deal. They're actually pretty common, or at least have been over the last few years due to the industry exodus from the platform.

 

Gonna be moved, but I paid £85 for mine. Generally don't spend more than £100 on one.

 

Thanks for that, I was just asking as I have a friend who has one and offered it me for £300 so thought I'd see if any one knew the real value.

Segata Sanshiro's advice about not paying more than £100 is sound. That'd definitely be my cutoff point.

 

i would say 150 tops if you really want it.
