Okay, I'm attempting to use DiscPatcher 3 to patch an ISO so that I can play it on my TEST. I'm simply doing this as a test to see if it works - everything else I've tried works so I'd like to give this a go. When I point the program to the ISO I get the error: "Error searching for exe filename in system.cnf" If I set the exe filename and mark as a master disc I get the same image - and it tells me that it's failed patching after a while. Now I know this involves editing the system.cnf file (i think), but what exactly do I do to it? Thank you! :icon_bigg
I never used it but I believe the tool have certain requirements regarding the format of the image of the disc. I think it's supposed to scan the image filesystem, find the system.cnf file on it's own, parse the contents of the boot2= line and from that find the boot elf file, "generate" a MASTER DISC boot sector and overwrite the original sector with it. So it really need to scan the image. I tried to find it online to download and have a go... But can't find it lol:shrug:
Took me about an hour to find it... I've reupped it: http://www.mediafire.com/?zfzx1jmtzzm Thanks for your time and help!
