It should state on the back sticker what the voltage is. But as far as I know H30001 didn't have both 110/220 so it's probably 110 only.
It says AC120V (120 Volt) so you will need a voltage converter to play it in Italy. Have fun with the dance mat that was included by the way
LOL Thanks for info! You have avoided that I fry my new ps2 test. Can you tell me what do I need to play games retail?
It will play retail & masterdiscs out of the box, nothing special needed. But if you want to play your backups you will need to patch the ISO files first before burning (you will need a program called loser's discpatcher)
Thanks  So now do you can tell me if Loser's Discpatcher is a legal program, and where I can find it?
I can't tell you that otherwise I would have to kill you after sorry. But google is your best friend isn't is
I remember a while ago someone (I think OE) mentioned that the PS2 Test units were not all HDD compatible, having required a firmware update from Sony for HDD usage. Could be wrong, but you'll know pretty quickly if it doesn't
This is correct. If you want a Test system that will work in Europe on 200V (and output a proper PAL signal) you want a DTL-H30002. -hl718
I have a DTL-H30002U unit. It states AC 120V, but works fine with 230V. btw, my unit does not work with the network adaptor.
Sounds like that one may have had a PSU swap mdmx. There are a few (relatively speaking) PAL units with 120V PSUs and a few NTSC units with 240V PSUs due to developers in either territory localizing games for the other. -hl718
Same with the PS1 Debugging units. I have a PAL unit with a 110vac PSU pre-installed from Acclaim New York.
Thanks at all for the answer! What do you recommended to use for the ps2 test in europe, with TV pal? Are there adaptors from NTSC signal to PAL? And the voltage? Someone said that it should also run on line 230v. Confirm?
Unless you are certain about the voltage, I would not risk running it on 230v - get a step-down transformer and try it at 120v. Without opening the unit, you can't be sure whether the supply will handle 230v. As for NTSC signal - try it with your TV first. Many recent UK PAL TVs can display NTSC & I'd assume that this may also be true in other parts of Europe.
power supply: bouth adapter 220 - 110 V 100W 10€ video output: no adapter - work correctly Thanks for all for the help
