    Hi all, new here :)
I just got a shiny testkit (or so it says xbconsoletype) with sidecar. I opened the PIX seal, and everything seemed to work ok, but of course I can't debug (VS says "unexpected network error" when running some code, or when attaching to a debug xex)
-As far as I´ve read, I can-t debug with this kit, but is there any way to do so? Some hardware mod or something?
-If not, is it possible to run a post-build command that launches a xex in the console and attaches XbWatson to it? For now I haven´t been able to find any command to run xexs ond demand

    Thanks a lot :)

Yes...if you have the right connectors on your motherboard.

There are more knowledgable people on this board than I. So, I'll let them speak.

I've never done this myself. I've a testkit without a sidecar, but I do have the connectors inside.

    All the best.

1.Testkits cant attach a process using VS
    2. You dont have to "Attach" xbwatson in the xex. Any debug notes in the source will show up in xbwatson.

So there's no "physical" way to turn a testkit into a Dev, isn't it?
Anyway, I know XbWatson doesn't need any configuration or etc, my question is if there's any way via command line to ask the kit to run an app on demand, rather than having to go to the launcher and run it.
Thanks a lot for your replies :)

You can launch the app from the development system by double clicking on it through the Neighborhood interface. Or one can also telnet to it with custom commands.

Can anything be done with a VS post-build script?

Ah, you want to launch a VS post-script on the actual xbox360?

I don't think that can be done, but I'm not sure...Some people overhere are very knowledgable and will know if it can or can't be done. I've just started out myself, so I've much to learn ;-)
