For the nerdiest hardcore of us here, this thread is dedicated to our high-scores in Tetris (any version).

Today I did quite well. On Tetris DS, on Marathon, in Endless Tetris I scored 2.352.917 and finally lost at Level 98.

    and you?;)

This thread has now been hijacked and is about Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/(Pokemon) Puzzle League.

... coz the series has all the more strategy and adrenaline pumping action than vanilla Tetris ever had or will have.

    Sadly, no one cares. :crying:

Actually, this thread is now about which puzzle game is the best and why.GOGOGOGOGO

Tetris DS is different to your ordinary Tetris. Give it a try.

It has TONS of new and fun modes you ll really like if you're into puzzles

First, in the 'Classic' Tetris you can 'reserve' a piece by pressing L or R, and swap it in the right moment for the right effect.

Also, you get to see your 5 next pieces (although i still actively look only to the one comming after)

The holding piece thing adds alot of depth and fun to the classic mode of the game imo.

The rest of the modes are very satisfying as well. Those include Push , Puzzle and Touch, along with a few others.

I have no idea how much the gamepak retails for, since I didnt buy it. If you do find it at a low price, take my word for it and purchase it if u r a tetris fan , a puzzle fan, or just a guy who wants to get smarter and is tired of gears of war and other similars;)

tetris ds is fun, but the look of it is a bit annoying. and "innovations" like the reserve piece were copied from the new tetris. that one truely rocked with four players! maybe the best tetris ever.

my marathon highscore is 1,989,716 on endless. one tiny mistake and the game is over, horror! :D oh and it's 319,032 on normal mode.

how about some virtual boy tetris? :D

I don't have a VB unfortunately here. I used to play a rendition of that game for the PC though.

Puzzle mode on Tetris DS is great.

Mostly I just play B game on classic Tetris, though. On speed 9/height 5 I've scored around 35k before now.
