On the old Quintet site there is a series of reportage about TGS 97 ( spring/autumn ) and 99. I though it was interesting. http://replay.web.archive.org/19980119212309/http://www.quintet.co.jp/old_pro.html http://replay.web.archive.org/20070829225147/http://www.quintet.co.jp/NEWS/990922.html
This thread "inspired" me to a related blog post: Edit: URL change due to organizational issues: http://blog.hardcoregaming101.net/2011/05/early-1990s-japanese-game-expo-photos_03.html
In the book "It Started with Pong" they have some oddball photos of some of the REALLY early Amusement Machine shows. When I say early, I'm talking 70's (maybe even earlier). Crazy shit.
Keep it up with the good work Derboo. Yes, the photos were the motive that push me to open this thread.
Sorry, I rarely take snapshot if not related specifically to a cancelled game. Try check console mags around the event date at http://www.abandonware-magazines.org/
