Thanksgiving

It's time to give thanks again. So what are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for my family and friends, work and every little blessings we receive each day.

That I'm not in jail
That my family is still somehow finding it in themselves to support me
A long time friend that did something many years ago to keep me here

 

Geez, getting heavy right off the bat! I think you shouldn't beat yourself up so much. Mistakes happen and sometimes people screw up. It's part of life. A lot has happened this year that made me realize that. I think there's more reasons for your family to support you than not. Kudos for the honesty, though.

I'm thankful for having the job I have despite the frustrations. Also the typical: friends, family and the world around me I get to experience.

 

I think otherwise.

At least I try to be.

I'm just thankful I'm not addicted to heroin/meth and living on the streets like a lot of the friends I grew up with. We all did the same shit growing up but I guess I was just lucky enough not to have an addictive personality.

 

For the privilege of earning a living wage as a grad student.

 

Hypertension, obesity, and fast food.

 

I'm thankful for having a roof over my head and for being alive.
