Oh, so they have been trying to sell this off for awhile then? I noticed in the description that it states some of the cutscenes and music may not work which I am wondering is due to the disc damage. Too bad, it looks like an interesting title.
It was listed not too long ago, but he has since changed the listing and lowered the price from his original 5k ask.
Someone actually bought it. I couldn't sink that kind of money into something that looked like it was damaged. Too many unknowns. Hope the data is still readable for preservation sake.
Hello everyone. I dumped that armed disc before the ebay auction. Here's some of the info: Sega Saturn TXT Export by [SRP v3.0 Gold Edition] using "Full Export" option SRP © Madroms 2004-2009 - Please visit http://madroms.satakore.com and http://www.satakore.com Header Information Taken From a Sega Saturn CD: ----------------------------------------------- CD Label: Game Title: AFTERMATH Manufacturer ID: SEGA TP T-1050 Serial Number: T-000000 Version: V0.001 Internal Date: 19950614 Device Information: CD-1/1 Area Code(s): JU Peripheral Code(s): J Total Number of Tracks: 12 Total Number of Data Tracks: 1 Total Number of Audio Tracks: 11 Creation Date: 1997/01/22 Creation Time: 12:40:45:00 Modification Date: 1997/01/22 Modification Time: 12:40:45:00 Manually Added Information (Found Directly on the CD): ------------------------------------------------------ CD Made In: ?????????? I will also mention the following dumps that were created using Disc Image Creator from Redump.org for the Sega Saturn that day: 1. Armed/Aftermath 2. Bedlam 3. Crime Patrol (port of the Sega CD game) 4. Heart of Darkness (won't play on real/retail saturns) 5. Jewels of the Oracle v1.000 (US) 6. Jewels of the Oracle v1.001 (US) 7. Sega Rally Championship Plus v0.900 MK-81207 There is also a heavily damaged Prize Fighter (Disc 1) that runs on the saturn. I'm attempting to dump as much of it as i can, but there is a serious data hole in it.
Excellent! I'm so happy the heart of Darkness was found as it was originally a Saturn exclusive but ended not even being released on the system.
The data track is 100% complete and intact. The data holes in the disc are in the audio section. F1R3B4LL and I hope to source out alternative audio to replace those tracks and restore the image 100%, but as I've got an event in a couple of weeks, it won't happen just yet.
Has anybody dumped this already? It's the Jag CD version of Accent Media Productions' Varunas Forces. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Varunas-F...133125?hash=item48a30c3b45:g:7-IAAOSwaeRZLCua
Here it is at last, iThink's Asteroids ROM for the Atari Jaguar. MASSIVE thanks to Lars of Starcat Developments for holding this out for years without getting lost Something you need to keep in mind is that it's on a Alpha state, iThink didn't spent too much time on it (it was around 1995 or 1996). Here's video footage of it!
Update on Slam Racer: So i did got a reply from sinigord himself about dumping the Slam Racer 1996 beta build and this is what he had to say about it: "So, this is a bit of a difficult situation. You will know if you've looked at the game, that there were 3 coders, myself, Graham and Lawrence. Given the level of animosity towards him on this group, I think it's safe to assume he would not approve of the rom being released here, therefore I have to say no. Whatever the version of the game is, it really isn't going to be much different than the version on the Painter CD." So, which group specifically he's referring to? Jaguar Sector III. Some members (including some from the homebrew community) had issues with Lawrence in the past behind and on the Jaguar scene and due to that, i could not release the ROM there. Luckily, since there's no negativity against Lawrence here i can dump the ROM of the beta here without issues. The thing comes that Lawrence doesn't want to see that beta online due to fear of pirates profiting from his work vía repro carts (much like what has been happening with BattleSphere, Jaguar CD Gorf & Do The Same to name a few). That and the fact that the team spent 15000$ on the dev. kits, only to never get any royalty from Atari due to them going out of the console buisness. I'll dump the ROM of the beta but with some warnings once i make the post with the ROM on it so yeah, a ROM release of the beta is inminent!
Also another update: Asteroids 2000's alpha build, according to Ryan Porter (aka the programmer on this bad boy), dates at least back from 1994
OK so here are the things YOU CANNOT ABSOLUTELY DO with the ROM of Slam Racer beta: + Don't make repro carts out of it to get money behind the back of the devs. + Don't even profit from selling the ROM online. I'm not doing this for the group that i'm part of, nor because i want recognition. I'm doing this because this does deserve to see the light of day for everybody to see & play. If the team decides to one day finish the game by themselves, i'll pull the ROM out from here so just a reminder. Without further ado, here's the ROM, enjoy NOTE: The ROM only works on the Phoenix Emulator Project.
Here's another prototype for the thread, this time it's Brett Hull NHL Hockey for the Atari Jaguar CD, released as Jaguar Hockey by Jaguar Sector II from back in the day. Enjoy! https://mega.nz/#!48dDAajR!i2PNLcVlPiOVAbg9mKBNENbWLFTSAID8RTAMoflkOqU Oh, BTW, here's a slew of other prototypes & demos: - American Hero: https://mega.nz/#!N0E0RA6Z!KI0dnk1CDbMMhhQ1AlSq8TpDRoPpOYddozxKcyBTo8Q https://mega.nz/#!stsw2aLA!1iI9qVqSpiVMCA_GV0PK4br9BvCP5MLV3-817Ex53UM https://mega.nz/#!VpNnRLoD!C_NOjL-Ljia3sSdxncgp6WvuPNhLuXG-IUEd5opkVF8 https://mega.nz/#!N51WhJhb!MglZ7wmTMvEZILnY0hnqYMt1t8s7YLrf3PqGzZBE4Hg - Varunas Forces: https://mega.nz/#!Z1dmwBiY!TJaMWFE3a-lBsg9cBUFLDBE3dEKmXrmINfM9SUBMuow https://mega.nz/#!8sUXSLja!21rHz5fDVOuRb8GMxgCWBS6zOkjDfVzYOm2OJd8Rklk - Demolition Man: https://mega.nz/#!RlU1HI5A!dNqo6Hcsjmwi85fogwIuGaEYlszm3LSx0frcgXXA3pY - Caves of Fear: https://mega.nz/#!ks9DhCwY!TaVanUSOZY4vJKlnpq7VklyjmulZU5UDRmi73vuZ5nU - The Interactive Rock Horror Show (don't let this fool 'ya. Thank Dan McNamee for that tidbit ): http://www.old-games.com/download/1547/rocky-horror-interactive-show-the Last but not least, here's the rest of the Blue Lightning Tour builds. Enjoy everybody
Here's some more Atari Jaguar Prototypes, this time it's turn for Alien Vs. Predator. There's at the moment 3 builds but Jason S. Lane, who was a tester for Missile Command 3D, has a near-finished build of the game and that one was 2-3 months away from completion and it's not avaiable yet. These run on Phoenix Emulator Project.
So i was checking The Hidden Palace page about Barkley Shut Up and Jam for the Atari Jaguar and i downloaded the .ROM, only to find out that it was actually the alpha build!. So, i decided to dump the near-finished beta of BSUAJ here because why not?
For those who didn't saw the news on twitter, a 90% complete build of Cool Herders for the Nintendo DS was released like a week ago http://atariage.com/forums/topic/273456-cool-herders-ds-rom-free/
