Here in Penticton when the smell of flowers becomes heavy in the air and the heat rises above 30 consistently an event happens. this year that was last night You could hear the drums from halfway across the town. Primal and intoxicating as you see people dancing in the shadows of the night and 4 guys wading through the fountain searching for change. the true indicator that summer has come for the Okanagan. The fruit-pickers from Quebec have come!:love: sorry for the wierd poetic build up but i just wanted to know if any other towns that people on this board live in have an influx of people in the summer like this? a very exciting time of year for me. lots of stuff(and some people if you so desire) to do and lots of people to hang out with during the hot days you can't sleep*i have trouble sleeping in temps above 27 Degrees* (that and i haven't posted in a while and am excited and energetic)
