I just wish they'd add a way to import images via downloads from USB sticks. It can't be that hard to do, can it? Yakumo
I wish they would too but I figure the legal issues prevent them. I remember Rare was going to allow you to use the GB camera to put your face in Perfect Dark multiplayer but removed it over concerns of folks puting pictures of classmates (post Columbine fears) or celebrities and shooting them up.
At first I kinda assumed the Forza games didn't have image importing because of copyright issues, but the marketplaces for 3 and 4 are full of copyrighted material.
True, you can just make your own and sell it on the market place so it seems they're cool with that. Importing an image or making it yourself is just the same in the world of copyrights. I doubt they ever will add the import image option but if they did it sure would open up a hell of a lot of cool mods. Yakumo
Apart from the pre-loaded images you have to do EVERYTHING yourself. All those game company logos, anime images and so on are all made using forza's art editor. So that Daytona car of mine had all the art work made on Forza.
And you have to do everything with shapes like circles and squares, there's no "freeform" painting tool. I really don't get how some people are so good at making stuff in the editor.
Me either I'm not even going to attempt to edit anything. And I hate this game for focing me to choose between a 1960 Corvette and a T-bird
Protip: always pick the most expensive car. http://www.gamespot.com/features/forza-4-free-reward-cars-price-guide-6338910/
Now I want a 360 and F4 so I can make some lame liveries. They wouldn't turn out even near as awesome as the ones you guys have posted.
Yes, nice treasure car  Today, my Mega Drive Impreza thought it would be good to flip over the back end of a Ferrari. It also made for a great photo. Here is the low resolution version. I also saved a 12MB High Resolution BMP version if anyone would like it. Yakumo
I don't find the AI THAT bad. Actually, the crash was caused by my wife walking in front of the screen as I came to a high speed corner
No, but it definitely does stupid stuff. The thing that annoys me the most is how slow they drive in the corners, and they seem to brake at random places too.
YOu can get some crazy shit if you're playing people who are on poor connections thanks to lag. I once did a corkscrew flip once over the back-end of a Le-mans style car. It looked fantastic but when I went to save the replay I hit the wrong bloody button and went back to the main menu. I actually like that. If you've ever been on a real race track (I've done so 3 times) you'll find people breaking at odd times and some slow people on corners. What you don't find though are people driving in to you right off the starting grid. that is pretty annoying at times in Forza 4.
I once had an online race on the Nürburgring where cars were just flying around the track because of lag or connection problems or something. I do have a replay of that. I don't really buy that, after all the AI drivers are supposed to be professional racers, not some amateurs on a track day.
True, but if they were so good you'd never win because we aren't professionals. Is there a difficulty level of Forza 4? I can't say I've looked for one. Anyway, I play with the rewind option set to off to avoid temptation. Here's another creation that I made in a short time last night. Yeah, I was bored and it's not so good. A Lexus LFA Yakumo
