OK guys, stay with me here because I've never played any Rock Band game before. Today mine finally arrived, US Wii version played on a Japanese Wii through the Homebrew Channel Gecko loader. The game works perfectly fine apart from I can't access the store although I can access the other on-line stuff. Anyway, what I want to know is if these strange text messages are normal? They look like code text to me. Yakumo
They aren't normal they look like the placeholder names of the graphics that are meant to be displayed there. Maybe gecko is causing the problem, probably cant find the graphics on the disk?
Im sure they will release a fix if enough people report it to the gecko os people. Hoping to pick up my copy tomorrow on 360
it's am amazing game I can't however replicate my 4 star performance on expert in Sgt Pepper/A little help from my friends.
There are about 47 tracks on the disc with loads more available to buy. I'm quite impressed with the the selection on the disc. While there are a few missing that I would have liked, they can still be got via the download service.
45 songs on disc. This.. was most likely Apple's doing because of the HIGH licensing costs for the catalog. (Well, one song is a mashup of two songs and another is two tracks seguing together.) "All You Need Is Love" a timed exclusive DLC track for the Xbox 360, coming to PS3 and Wii after a while. Abbey Road album in October; Rubber Soul album in November; Sgt. Pepper album in December. (You're paying for the lot of songs from those albums not already on the game disc.) Other tracks and songs to be DLC as seen fit. I know songs like "She Loves You," "Help!," and "Rain" can't be excluded. :3
This is the kind of shit I hate with DLC. So the Beatles RB disc on its own excludes Rubber Soul, Sgt. Pepper and Abbey Road albums entirely? Disgusting!
yeah but they give you 45 songs and everyone is great! Well, maybe not great but there are no dud tracks on there for sure.
Uhhhhhh, yeah? Too much focus on one album detracts from the amount of songs to include from the rest of the band's repertoire. There are songs in the game from those albums you listed. When you purchase the DLC, you're simply getting the majority of which are NOT on the disc itself. Also, not every song will make it to the game. The lead guys in charge of this game said "that would be stretching it" or something of that nature.
Revolition 9 is lots of tape loops and not a proper song in the sense. It's also quite scary to listen to in a darken room with headphones.
