Beeshu was reknown for it's most excellent Beeshu Zinger for nes. A series of lackluster controllers for later consoles followed until they eventually declared bankruptcy in 1995. Beeshu is known for making bizarre looking controllers, and notably left handed controllers. Angler - For snes. Crappy. Gizmo - Gensis arcade style, headphone jack extension. Rare. BANKRUPTCIES July 31, 1995 Beeshu Inc., a Winter Garden manufacturer of video game accessories, has filed for liquidation under Chapter 7 of the U.S. bankruptcy code. The filing comes four months after a state circuit judge ordered the company to pay $330,514 to Barnett Bank of Central Florida N.A. The bank had filed suit last year in Orange County, charging Beeshu with defaulting on a $400,000 loan with $305,000 in principal outstanding. In its Chapter 7 filing July 20, Beeshu lists assets of $130,095 and debts of $946,602. Neither Beeshu's president, Don Shulman, nor its attorney, Robert Branson, were available for comment Friday. I remember Beeshu fondly during the late 1980's...they made some great joysticks that used real microswitches and proper Japanese balltop joysticks. Sure the NES Advantage was a great stick, but you couldn't top some of Beeshu's NES arcade sticks back in those days. They even had a right handed model!
