The Border Break cabinet is sick.

It looks like a horrible control scheme. Touchscreen + joystick + mouse.

I think the control scheme looks great, though I am not sure how great the screen would look in an arcade over here after all those fingers have touched it.

The game is territory capture based, like Unreal Tournament right? You 'steal' way points for your team? It looks interesting.

Interesting. I think much of the touch screen interface is there just because they could. However, the game itself does look quite fun, if a little manic.

Good show from Sega for introducing a new IP, but where 10 player robot combat in concerned I'd like to see a new Virtual-ON.

Border Break official website. Interestingly, if you click the RingEdge logo it takes you to a page with specs for the RingEdge and RingWide. Or you can get the English Google translation here.

It kind of reminds me of Half Life 2: Survivor controls, and that worked fine, although without a touch-screen. And to all of you living in the US of A, complaining about not getting those cool cabs: shut up! Haha. Move to Europe and start complaining then.

There's one left, down the street from me. An absolutely pathetic SEGA arcade named Gameworks. It's always empty so they're trying to rent out the 2nd floor to a different business (in the same space). Their big attraction is the big, deluxe, 6 player (?), old-as-hell Model 2 INDY 500 game. People would rather stay home than experience the height of early 1990s graphics
