I've heard of the big dumping machines and such, but in this day and age, is there an easier way?

If not, is there anyone willing to dump something for me? Thanks

I've got a dumping device, but I haven't used it in ages, so I'm not sure if it still lives + I'm in Europe, so if you're in the US, it'd probably be better if you found someone local.

If you want to do it yourself, I believe the reader/writer devices for the flash carts you can buy at tototek.com can do the job for you.

Simply find somebody with a Genesis/Megadrive backup device. I personally don't own one, but I'm sure you'll find a reliable person here who does.

Are you sure what you have is worth dumping/is dumpable? Multicarts and other games with special decoding are not dumpable by backup units; they must be dumped manually.

PS: Tototek's MD-Pro cannot backup games.

So there is no software for it that allows it to read/extract data from a plugged in cartridge ?

Nope, the base unit is strictly a means to interface the cartridge to the parallel port, it itself doesn't contain any logic.
