Sounds great. I really dig those hidden gems on the Famicom that maybe fun for not more than 20 minutes at once but can be played every couple of days. Quarth also looks nice. I am already wondering on how to get my hands on a copy ^_^

Has there ever been a mint + complete copy of Gradius Archimendes been sold on a Western board / ebay page?
I watched one about 1yr ago and it went for 120 Euro(!). The box was beat up as hell and it was missing the flyer explaining the new item sprites (which is essential for the game IMO), but still - great price.

POSTED on the 26th of December; 21:48 Middle European Time (Berlin)!

I know this is probably a bit off topic, but can somebody tell me the release dates of these GBA SP's:

    * regular Famicom edition (I think it had to be released in 2004 or so, along with the Famicom Mini series)
    * rarer NFS Famicom GBA SP that goes for like 400 Euros (in small Famicom-lookalike box)

And what am I supposed to pay for a GB Micro Famicom ver.? =) New but has tears on the lashes of the box (on the back). :(

The gbasp famicom edition was released on Feb 14th 2004

The limited edition famicom gba sp was released in 3 batches for 3 separate competitions.

1st competition (1000 units) was not club nintendo but for the 20th anniversairy of the famicom. the ending date of this competition was Sep 30th 2003

2nd competition (1000 units if i remember correctly) was to write a small piece on what the famicom meant to you, each persons writing would be put up on nintendo Japan's website. I can't remember release date for this one but it cant be too far away from the first competition as it was still part of the famicom 20th anniversairy.

3rd competition (3000 units) this was the one called Hot mario campaign and was done from club nintendo, the famicom gbasp that was won from this competition was slightly different, it came in the same silver box as the other 2 competitions but it also had a red hot mario outer box & it was bundled with the famicom mini version of super mario bros, the date for this competition was Nov 7th 2003 to Jan 15th 2004

As for prices on the famicom micro, it depends on where you find it but usually i see it for around £30-£60.

Yeah, I remember the Hot Mario one. Didn't know about the different competitions though, interesting.

I have an offer for a Famicom Micro for 66 euro shipped. It's new, but the customs officers ripped the lashes open like a jailbirds ass. Sorry for the harsh language, just expressing my disgust towards the respectless behaviour of our beloved customs officials LOL.

I assume they require extra batteries. How long do they last? How good's the effect? :)
