So I have read on several sights about an arcade stick for the Nintendo Famicom called the "Toyo Stick" but the only alleged photo I can find here

    Gamers Graveyard
    (you'll have to scroll down)

    NES Retro

is not a Toyo Stick at all but actually an Ascii Stick Turbo Jr. without the ball top on.

I know this because I own one.

here are some pictures of the Ascii Stick Turbo Jr.

    Ascii Stick Picture 02

    Ascii Stick Picture 03

    Ascii Stick Picture 04

So my question is this --

Does the Toyo Stick exist? and someone simply got the wrong picture? Or is it just a complete myth.

ah yes you have the PC Engine model aswell, so do I, and I have the NES advantage, working on getting the 3 button Famicom model, the 2 and 3 button MSX model with red buttons, and the 2 button Master System Model with orange buttons called the Ascii Stick Alpha.

I'll probably post a WTB soon,

so what you are saying is the name Toyo stick is probably just a translation error and there is no Toyo stick?

I thought there was a company named Toyo but I have never seen any of their arcade sticks, certainly not for the famicom.

It could also be a third party clone stick from outside Japan as they are nothing new... I have a PS2 stick which is made by Kori rather then Hori as well as a FC stick by Honeybee...

    quite possible,

also ASSEMbler I don't think it's a spin off of the XE-1 stick unless ASCII's whole product line at the time was, as they all seem to build off each other in that era.

also Jamtex on the subject of Honeybee, do you know anyone with a NES game to Famicom system cartridge pin converter? I've been looking for one for awhile now.
