Appearently in 2003, Genki (who made the Tokyo Extreme series) worked on a Fast And Furious game which had a trailer and was pretty far into development. You were supposed to free roam around Los Angeles and get involved in cop chases. There were going to be 80 driving missions, and they supposedly had the same kind of mission system as GTA. It was cancelled however, and not much is known about it. Appearently some people claim this has been sold on Ebay and that it was released in Europe in 2004. Does anyone here have a copy of this game or know anything about it? Also, i've made a video on it on my second channel, if you're interested:
This game was never released, what was released in 2004 was an arcade F&F game made by Raw Thrills that was an spiritual sucessor of Cruis'n and was even released on Wii with the Midway franchise name. Maybe it got recycled into a Genki game released later.
Well, Genki was (or still active?) japanese developer, so I believe that things can be kinda complicated if you have to deal directly with the devs. At the best case, people that worked at Vivendi has an copy.
