As the title says, this thread is for all discussion related to fighting games. Unless there's already a thread for this which there probably is but eh, didn't see one SF, Tekken, KOF, whatever you want. Just keep your Melee trash out of here Anyways I've wanted to get into the competitive scene of SF for a while and it looks fun. Problem is IDK whether to get it on console or PC. Which do you guys prefer?
I can't wait for you to get hate on that Melee comment, even though I agree it isn't a fighting game. I'm also looking to get into SFV, and I'm going to get a PS4 and a fightstick just to play it. I doubt that the PC playerbase will remain for as long as the PS4 one will, so that's the main reason. However something else to consider is the fact that if you're going to play online on PS4 you need PS+, whereas PC is free. This isn't a problem if you've already got a PS4 but for someone like me it's a little bit of an annoyance.
Smash is it's own sub genre, deal wiv it. So lets see SFV is unfinished trash and I won't touch it again until they fix the Frame lag and add more modes KOF XIV is amazing and that's just the Demo Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator is super fun but they changed MOM mode for the worse. Can't wait for the Next Blazblue Tekken 7 THE HYPE IS REAL and I really hope they pack it with modes and show Capcom how it's done. Tekken Bowl and ball I'd like to see, I'd like to see a better Force mode, An arcade mode in addition to story, Just all of it.
Gotta admit new kof feels solid after playing the demo but kinda iffy about their being story mode and not arcade. SFV is a lot better than it was at launch but damage has been done. I gotta feeling the game won't be truly complete for another year by then they will probably release a complete edition of it at a discount price. Kinda sad Virtua Fighter has fizzled after Suzuki left the series.
Hmmm, well snk usually has a good track record when it comes to KOF home releases, exception being 12, but that was obviously rushed out the door.
The only fighting game I can play (other then Super Smash Brothers (pick your flavor, I got them all LOL), is US Evil Zone because it only uses two buttons.. LOL The CO that brought it over here to the US decided to switch to Wrestling games so we didn't get Evil Zone 2. Was this title as good as the first one (story wise and the two button play HA!)? =hugh
