Just how big are these things?

HDNL via interparcel will take a 50x50x50 box upto 30kg for £5.95 plus VAT.

Maybe it is. I recently sold a job lot on ebay as collection only only and the seller is currently being anal about getting it sent via courier and it's taken a damn load of time to package it and get it all into boxes so I can't be arsed with doing that again. Collection only!

Philips Goya 8265 65cm color TV, fully working with universal remote control.
Due to size and weight only pick up in Cologne (Germany).

For those that nearly asked me for the Dreamcast POD, it is now dismantled and sat in pieces in my garden, destined to rust in a landfill... if anyone wants any parts from it (PSU, light overlays, whatever) let me know now before it rains and is ruined.

I understand the issue of it taking up needed space, but...

I have been trying to give it away for the last 5+ years, nobody has offered to take it off my hands. It was in pretty rough shape anyway, would have needed a lot of work. Today it's raining, so other than the plastics, everything is useless.

Unless you left it switched on, the electrics would still be good.

Also, I like the way everyone's bitching and complaining, but nobody actually has said they want it :p

(PS: I wish I could take it, but have too many boxes of stuff at the moment and genuinely see no reason to own one).

Yeah, the problem is the sheer size and weight of it, you are looking at about £100 to deliver it within about 100 miles of Cardiff.

Depending on exactly how rough it was I would have probably taken it had I known. I know a man with a van who could have picked it up for me. Ah well. :(
