I have a for-parts-only Sega Game Gear (blue button, not majesco).

I opened the GG and there was a large amount of what looked like corrosion, on the inside of the plastic case next to one of the battery compartments. There was either a leaking battery in the system at some point, or a cap exploded, or both. No response, no red power light, with fresh batteries.

Free for the cost of shipping, I can cram the game gear into a small flat rate box, which I think is close to $6 for shipping (domestically in the US) these days. PM me if interested.

I got a list of a few things I don't really want:

incomplete sega cd model 1 bodies
(I believe to be) fried nintedo wii board. It's a gamecube model with an old OS on it. last time it worked it was supporting usb games. I tried modding it before I wasn't experienced then and broke off a few smd caps.
fried psone screen with busted up body. But working lcd/blub.
DDR ram sticks. 5x 512, 3x 256
pentium 4 3.2ghz
small box of assorted 3ds body parts.
