The Genesis Mega Drive Stack Challange!

Has ANYONE ever tried to stack perpherals together and see how much you can plug?
I call a Genesis/Megadrive stacking challange to anyone up for it!

Does it actually work in that state? If you don't say that it has to work then technically there's no limit. After a certain height it'll fall down, but you could arrange them laterally.

 

Nice! The most I have seen was just two 32X's and a cartridge, but this is even better! :clap: :lol:

They don't have to mechanicaly work, one of the 32x's in my pile friend. Plus that much gangrapage doesn't seem to mechanicaly agree, it's ok to use re-enforcement, the bigger and taller, the BETTER!

Off I go on a hunt for more 32X's and Game Genie!

 

There was an old Japanese Advert for the Master System 3D Glasses showing a family all wearing 3D glasses posted on the sega8bit forum, which as there's only one port makes it abit daft. But on discussion it was thought that using a sterio to sterio phono spliter then you could have people watching your game in 3D so i tried it out..

 

"the 32x upgrade can upgrade the 32x" there was something like that written on the box, haha

Hmm, I wonder if 6 Magic Drives + game will beat it? I could pile on some other copiers too but they wouldn't stack nicely together.

 

Looks like fun. Watch out for the cartridge ports though, too much weight or force and you'll kill them.

 

I have a X-Band modem that could add to the height, course it wouldn't be playable as S&K wasn't a game you could have potentially played online.

 

It's all in how much can be stacked, it's all good if it doesn't exactly work...... 2 32X's on each other will not work............. but they look damn sick!

 

you can add the karaoke for megadrive ^^

 

I topped that a few years ago, I did a Megadrive1 w/ir pad+MegaCD+32x+Action Replay+Sonic & Knuckles+Ppower base converter+Master System cart.
I dont remember If I used 1 or 2 32x's though

 

I always thought a game plugged into S&K plugged into a Game Genie plugged into a Nomad was unwieldy for a portable.

 

Personally I think duplicates are boring. IMHO the rule should be that the stack should indicate something a user would do to use the equipment.

Oh Man! That Nomad is EXTREME!!
But I still wonder, how many 32X's can one stack? I'm hunting down as many as possible!

 

Pity you can't use a 32X with a Nomad tho... well okay you can but only via an external monitor. Although that reminds me that I do have a Nomad... I'm going to have to get the Lead Acid battery out to get decent journey time through it.
