What's with all these pricks bidding on an auction, winning the item and then saying they didn't bid on it, even though they clearly bid twice on it and now not wanting to pay? Can someone please tell me what's the best way to go about this, open an unpaid item case? Will ebay restrict them in any way, I guess they can open up another account. Very frustrating
Open case because always open case Request possible IP ban since they appear to be repeat offenders (I assume) as well as potential resolution Offer item to second highest bidder if nothing else can be done ??? Profit.
It's why I only ever buy on eBay, I see too much risk in selling. Happy to boast that the longest I've taken to pay for an item was about 12 hours though.
Report unpaying bidder. Block their eBay ID. Simple really. You'll get credited for your listing fee as well. It's annoying I know, but eBay always favour the buyer.
I've never seen a buyer get seriously punished for anything. Even if the behavior is fraud. Such as trying to fool me into thinking that a payment has been sent using an archaic marking system of "payment sent" that dates back to the money order days. Nothing ever happens to the buyer.
I wasn't aware it was this bad. Maybe I should try the marketplace here but I don't see many people from Australia
It doesn't really matter if someone doesn't pay as you get credited for the final value amount anyway. As much as I know it's annoying, it's no different listing elsewhere and someone not paying. Selling a car is much worse lol. Sometimes I get deposits and never hear from the buyer. Bit weird some people.
