Sorry, I couldn't hear what you said what with this massive sucking sound going on in the background... -hl718
M. Night Shyamalan directed so I'm inclined to believe that it sucks. The man is a one hit wonder and by all accounts after this flop he is pretty much done.
I hate the cameos M Night Shyamalan makes in his movies. He should retire and spare us from his misery
It was terribly bad. It could've been a lot better though. They made a lot of stupid decisions in the process , that's for sure. Compressing 26, 20+ min episodes into a 01:45 min movie was never going to turn out well.
If it means anything, I didn't watch the anime series and went and saw it. I could not follow a single thing in the entire time. After it was over, I was literally asking myself "Why did you let them take you to this 3-dimensional bullshit?". But from what I have been told, you were supposed to have watched the series before the movie, even though it was supposed to cover them(Which doesn't make sense to me). I enjoyed Eclipse more, and you know how much of a bad rep that series has.
Which is why it boggled my mind when there was talk about a live action Evangelion movie. Can you imagine trying to fit that series into 2hrs?
Yeah, I don't see how or why they can do that without breaking it into at least 2 or 3 movies for that many episodes
