PS4 launch date hint - The Last Of Us gameplay

17th October 2013 shows as PS4 launch date, Could it be ?





You often find some mystery date/information or photo in game-play to give out clues for gamers.

Example
Like Uncharted 3 during in gameplay which you can find of poster and newspaper of hinting/reveals the The Last of us which wasn't announce back then or exist in development until few months time.


Uncharted and Last Of Us are developed by Naughty Dog as Exclusive to Sony

 

Looking forward to the ps4. Not sure if I will get a launch unit because of the failure rate of the 1st ps3 and 360s

I not sure what you mean by that ? I pretty sure PS4 will have a successful start at Launch date, Sony already have a handful exclusive game to begin with. Sony already learnt that mistake in at PS3 launch anyway.

 

He was referring to how the launch ( and even still to this day) 360s would get the RROD , and how the ps3 although not even close to how the 360 was would get the YLOD ( i have 3 launch 60gig ps3s and not a single one has gotten the ylod or anyother defect, but i am on my -7th- (yes 6 others rrod on me) 360 it has lasted 2 years so far...

 

Yeah I wonder if any of the original launch 360s with the xenon chip are even in operation today. That would be a rare item! I have a Falcon chip revision that was working when I last used my 360 awhile ago. As for the PS 3, I don't have a launch unit but really envy those that have a working one because they have ps2 compatability. I'm glad yours is still working Candiec, I'm still weary of getting one off ebay because of the ylod issues.

 

I still have a white launch 360 premium, I did eventually get a slim but last time I used it it still worked

 

I highly doubt that's the release date. There is no way they can finish by october.

I still have my Original 60GB PS3 which was purchase launch day 2006 and still going strong to this day. I recently bought a Super Slim PS3 and use that now. Surprisingly I still got a Original XBOX360 in 2005 with no HDMI input back and still works well to this day aswell. Reason it still going because I only completed Halo 3 and Gear of War 1 in 2007 on XBOX360 and that was the last time I power up the XBOX360

Well you never know as PS4 start manufacturing in 2011 as a rumor. Sony headquarter did says that PS4 may release late 2013, at some site as journalist believes October will be the launch day for PS4.

 

Maybe its the release date of the next game?

 

Definitely something will happen on that date and time, somewhere in the world.

 

Last of us will release on 14th June 2013, However very unlikely if there another game release by Naughty Dog.

 

Hmm could be DLC or expansion release. If you wanted to stay on the PS4 theme it could be a date of the showing of the PS4 console (details, price and release).

I would get a PS4 at launch if it gets a version of TLoU that isn't full of jaggies, crap textures and low res like PS3's

 

My Japanese 360 is a launch unit. It worked the last time I used it (but I haven't used it in months).

 

October/November seems very plausible for a launch date ... I'm going with Nov 16th though as it coincides nicely with the 20th anniversary of SCE's creation! - as noted in their own recent video ...

 

My Xenon is still working today but its been modded to insure it lasts longer. I don't use my 360 a lot so it has a sparse usage rate where I use it a lot for a bit then its not touched in months.

 

Nice to hear that your Xenon's are still working. I bought mine when Gears of War 1 came out and it lasted till Grand Theft Auto 4. It gave me a chance at least to try the towel trick which did work, for a short amount of time of course.

Amazing that SCE has been around for 20 years. I actually bought my ps1 during its launch period when Mortal Kombat 3 came out.

 

Isn't it supposed to be Holiday 2013? I'm under the impression that they said that at the PS4 announcement thing in February.
