Only mobo I can see fitting in is Mini atx, Micro ATX is probably too big, although its been a while since I had an n64 in my hands.

I'm still decding if I'm going to go through with it. But If I do I'll probably do white or Blue/Black (the Same Colour scheme as the Type X Zero)

That's what I said although it's Mini-ITX not ATX. Gotta get the terms right to play in the PC building field...

ION 2 is the way to go if using that brand of GPU. ION 1 jacked memory from the system and reduced the total by half a gig. ION 2 has its own RAM and doesn't jack any from system. Also depending on board you get you may even get the system that shuts the GPU off and runs off internal Intel graphics for light loads. (Forgot the name of the technology. Meh...) I had an Asus Eee PC 1215N that I hyper-clocked the CPU from 1.8 to 2.3 Ghz and the ION from like 475 to 700 Mhz on. Never had a problem even when loading the GPU down past 90% for extended periods. (Gotta love Sonic Adventure for PC. That's what loaded my GPU down...) Same for CPU. Never overheated when doing extended full burn work outs on both cores and all 4 threads. Sometimes I had both CPU and GPU loaded past 90% for extended periods and that cooling fan could get quite loud. Only had a BSOD once but my fat ass was blocking the intake vent...

Lappy finally killed the wall plug jack from being jerked-one-too-many-times (LOL! DIRTY!!) so I sold it to a dude in Greece.

Sounds like a good colour scheme, I would personally do mine in the famicom colours because it would be used for emulators and for some reason when I think retro I think famicom.

I did a final logo to inspire you and if you do decide to do it I will do a real 1:1 for you ;)

Now I've got to figure out how to do a "E" in the same style for when I make my Emutendo 64 rofl

Yeah, my htpc is Ion2 forgot to clarify. It's still not a fantastic graphics setup though if you want some really raw power. And yeah, you can do a bit of OC on those chipsets, I run my atom a bit higher, and my gpu is at a good clip higher than stock, works great for what I need (XBMC and some emulation). Just need to set some realistic goals on where you are trying to get power wise with cramming a system in that case

    I LOVE IT!!!

It has Red, Green, Blue, and yellow. Those are the colors used for representing the RGB and SYNC signals for older consoles. So cool. Old school RGB!

    That's my take anyways...

I didn't think about that lol, I just coloured it the same as the original...I need to find the Nintendo 64 font so I can put either "mame64" or "Mametendo64" on the real thing if it ever goes ahead :p

I did a slight touch up on it in photoshop, if anyone wants to sharpen it up.

Whipped this together in 20 mins. Got the PSD if you need it and figure a black 1px. stroke may go well with the shapes.

It's a png file... which mean it'll display in MAME :) awesome!

I still need a good MAME Frontend though besides UI.

If you're using Windows I think the best option is advance menu or gameex
