as i'm currently planning a mame cab build i'd love to see other peoples completed projects and have a chance to ask for some advice.

So has anyone completed one of these? Did you start with an old cabinet and convert or build the whole thing from scratch?

I'm also very interested in what sticks people used, whether its better to buy the sticks and buttons separately and build them into the machine, or whether you could buy pre-built arcade sticks which are pc compatible and attach them somehow?

Its also quite hard to find info on how powerful a pc you need to run the latest roms and ways of making the front end as authentic as possible, and what the latest supported games are?

I started one of these a while ago never finished though. I converted an old arcade cabinet, repaired it etc. Heres my very old site documenting it http://www.geocities.com/mamefrenzy/
