I never understood why people buy multiple copies of the same game. I can understand if they have different packing or different versions but buying many copies of the exact same game is something I never really compelled to do.

I do it all the time...for the purpose selling.
99% of everything u see there was sold on game forums.
It was a good way to supplement my income when the exchange rate was good. It was really fun game shopping with other people's money.
I only sold by request so that I wouldn't buy unwanted stuff.

The unique owners of Yam-Yam and Vampire Killer gold cartridges :)

I know them well especially Kouta Atarashi but even with that they don't considere any of my offers for these items

Tokyo has became less interesting during these last years because of many gaijins who used to buy to resell in Occident , i can understand them if they buy for their own collection but i can't avoid to blame them for their commercial tricks...

By speaking about this , most of them used to resell bootlegs (especially Metal Slug and Sapphire) to japanese , which is disgusting , also lot of games start to get "maboroshi" statut :(

But like we say in France , we need everything to make a world , i guess...

Ps : between every Nintendo 64 models , Midnight Blue is also my favorite one :D

I can fully understand buying many copies of the same thing to sell on but some collectors do it for collecting.

Please don't say gaijin, especially in a negative sense.

I'm half but i born in France.

Unfortunately this is the true and i repeat again : i don't blame collectors , only unhonest resellers and people who brang bootlegs wave in Japan , which is definitly different from import video games specialists who are excellents alternatives for people who can't go or buy in Japan.

Sorry if my purposes looked agressives (difficult to feel tone through forums )

It's OK. I get very sensitive about the word gaijin. I know that foreign people tend to fling it around a lot... I know I use to (I'm American); but after doing business in Japan, I started to notice how it was used really as more of an insult.

Remember, in Japan either your Japanese or you're foreign. You're not half-Japanese or naturalized Japanese. Either you're pure blood or you're not. And if you're not, then you aren't in the club. Being an American, I really didn't realize how many opportunities there were in America as opposed to Japan. It was very difficult to start my company simply because I was a foreign white guy.

    I understand your frustration.

We're the only Gravure Idol/ Pink Film company run by foreigners in Japan, and the first to release titles into a world market. Check us out on Amazon! <------- shameless plug

No matter if use you gaijin or gaikokujin, they're still not treating you the same as a native so get over it.

I've spent the majority of my professional life here (only 2 years in the states). It is what it is. In my experience, which is extensive, it's not really used in a derogatory fashion. You can't close a country for 250 years and expect it treat foreigners the same one that was built on immigration.

Wish I worked in the your studio. Never knew it was possible to start off a Gravure studio being foreign and all. No one believed me when I wanted to start one. I'll now tell them it's possible.

Actually it's almost impossible for a gaijin to start a gravure studio. I don't recommend you do it. It's a very expensive and time consuming undertaking.

I don't think I'd ever be able too. Japan is an expensive country.

However, good luck with you studio!
