We are being consistent though. Dead animal used for food & clothing = ok

Dead animal for jokey PC mouse cover, mobile phone warmer = not

It's in my view as welcome as hollowed out elephants feet to park your umbrella or tusks for knife handles. Nothing to do with the rarity of the animal, just the indignity of having decided to make something so frivelous and pointless out of a dead animal. I don't mind things serving a useful purpose, I am not in the least bit upset by animals being used for food, but what the hell went through the guys mind when he came up with mouse mouse? That to me is deliberately provocative and meant to shock.

    LOL

<I can see that I am out numbered by the "What's wrong with that?" group lol

Dead animals are dead animals. I don't see how putting mouse skin on an object is any more sick than wearing cow skin on your body. Don't bring up the "food and clothing" issue as though leather is necessary for our survival in this day and age.

Like I say, consistency. I'm not bothered by this, leather, or dead mice/cows in general, so I obviously I'm playing devil's advocate here.

Being a vegetarian, I can't really say the dead gerbil for a mouse bothers me . I remember the IMDB forum posts when on the Dirty Sanchez movie they killed a chicken to eat. I'll never quite understand why people get shocked when it's rubbed in their face ;) .

I don't see the problem. As long as the mouse wasn't tortured, who cares? They are pests anyway.

I think people have to take my comments with a pinch of salt as I really do like playing Devil's advocate. However, no matter how anyone tries to justify or pass off that mouse mouse, I personally feel that it in bad taste. I'm not going to be getting one.

On another note, should I take that last line literally? A dead chicken being rubbed in peoples faces? lol :eek:h: <I can't help myself>
