    RTGs leak radiation like hell, so you actually don't want this thing near your bed. For power - space probes use 15-20 years old tech when it comes to computers - we talk about MHz and megabytes here. And there's a reason for that - thin tech process is more susceptible to radiation and the more balls (no pun intended) chip have - the more chance that one of them will fail. Operating temperatures is another problem. Of course you can use something like mobile phone board in the lead shell as cheap micro-satellite computer but interplanetary probe is a different beast, it must work for YEARS.

    I think Nokia used them in their phones. They did pretty much last forever... unlike the damn iphone batteries.
