This is a longshot, but I don't see the harm in asking. No idea what other part of the forum to ask in so... Suppose there's a very old post in the marketplace I'm curious if I can find. And this post possibly was from all the way back in like 2001 or so, on a much older version of the forum. Question is, would that still be archived anywhere?
Pretty unlikely I'd say, seeing as the old OLD forum was wiped by a evildoer, if I recall someone mentioning. EDIT: It's mentioned here, on the second ever thread on the new forum (and the first one still in the archive): http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?2 The archives go as far back as this date, so sadly anything older than 2004 is probably gone.

Hmm, naah - 2001 would have been the Easyboards forum, most likely. Then we went to something else, then the phpBB, then the first vBulletin forum, then the revamp, IIRC! *EDIT* Easyboards? Proboards? Ahh, it's late and I can't think straight! Something like that!
Ah memories. EZ boards was so much anarchy. Before that there was geocities... and before that posts on usenet and a BBS. My usenet posts date to 1994. I beta tested netscape Maybe some of the old stuff is on tucows cds... if it exists. Fansub scripts and drum scanned pictures
